Capturing Pokémon Shiny outside events

Niantic doesn't always do events or Raid Bosses to add Pokémon Shiny to the game. Sometimes they just add monsters, and eventually some trainers end up finding them around. So in addition to participating in special events, you can randomly encounter a Shiny while playing Pokémon GO. They will appear as wild monsters, but they can also appear in Raids.
