The relationship between FIFA and the Brazilian teams has never been the best. Perhaps due to the difficulty in negotiating licenses with each athlete in Brazil or due to lack of interest, since 2014 the EA game does not have Brazilian licensed teams. And from what we have been able to say so far, FIFA 20 will repeat the pattern of the last games : BR clubs will be generic.
The game will feature 15 Brazilian teams , the following being:
- Guild
- Atlético-MG
- International
- cruise
- Fluminense
- Botafogo
- Go
- Saints
- CSA - AL
- Brazil
- Chapecoense
- Hawaii
- Atlético-PR
- Fortress
- Ceara
As you can see, there are some important absences in the list, namely
Palmeiras ,
São Paulo ,
Corinthians ,
Flamengo and
Vasco . These 5 clubs signed an exclusive contract with the competition,
PES 2020 . Therefore they cannot in any way appear in any other football game.
How will the teams be presented?
Firstly, the Brasileirão will be called the Brazilian League. This is how EA calls the Brazilian Championship some editions. The clubs that will be present at
FIFA 20 will have the correct names, shields and uniforms, but not athletes. This is a shame as players will have completely generic names.
Below you can see the numbers of Attack, Midfield, Defense and Overall of each Brazilian team. The lineups, as we mentioned, are completely generic, with strange names and do not represent the squads of the teams at all.

And the Brazilian team?
Both the male and female Brazilian teams will follow what was presented at
FIFA 19 . The uniforms, the name and the shield will be the originals, but the squads will not. Unfortunately for men, we will only have Neymar as a real player, while the rest will be generic players.
This will make the General Classification of the team low, staying at 81. There will be 84 attack and 80 midfield and defense. But we have a solution to this problem!
When editing formations, in the game's initial menu, you can simply change the squad selection. As the real players exist in the clubs, just change the generics for the originals and that's it! Now you can play with Neymar, Coutinho, Alisson and company whenever you want!
