Tips for optimizing Apex Legends

First: to display the rate of FPS (frames per second) in Apex Legends you simply open Origin, click on the "Origin" menu in the upper left corner and choose "Application Settings". Then choose the "Origin in the game" option: See our super guide with all the characters from Apex Legends! In the field "During the game" you will find the option "Show QPS counter" shown in the image above. Choose where you want the FPS counter and you're done. Then, you should already know that to improve the performance of the game, you must give up the quality of the graphics. So, enter Apex Legends, go to the video options and configure as follows:
  • Display mode: Full key
  • Aspect ratio: native to your monitor
  • Resolution: native to your monitor
  • Field of view: the smaller the field of view, the higher the SPF rate
  • Color blindness mode: only enable if you are color blind
  • Vertical sync: disabled
  • Smoothing: none
  • Texture filtering: bilinear
  • Ambient occlusion quality: disabled
  • Coverage in solar shade: low
  • Shade details (sun): low
  • Shadow details (lighting): off
  • Volumetric lighting: disabled
  • Dynamic shadows (lighting): off
  • Model details: low
  • Effects details: low
  • Impact marks: disabled
  • Quality of ragdolls: low
There are also some options that you can modify outside the game. To access them, locate the " Respawn> Apex> local " directory and run the "videoconfig.txt" file Then, enter the values ??in bold in the parameters shown below:
  • setting.csm_enabled " 0 "
  • setting.r_lod_switch_scale " 0 " (this option is the final sacrifice of your graphics. If you can't stand the ugliness, increase the value a little)
As a last tip, if your card is from Nvidia, you can go to the settings panel and choose all the best performing options for Apex Legends. Stay on top of the latest Apex Legends update! Check out the top 5 team compositions from Apex Legends!
