As with any MMORPG, Tales of Wind has several different classes to choose from. However, the game has some classes with well-mixed characteristics that may surprise those who are familiar with the genre.

First classes
Warriors
Specialties: Defense / Melee Combat
Evolves to: Paladin or Berserker
Skills
Storm of Swords : Wields the great sword in a storm of destructive force, dealing great damage to enemies within range.
Protection of Light : The light shines on whoever casts it, pulling nearby enemies towards them. Heal whoever launches it.
Wild Leap : Jumps into the air and, when landing, hits enemies in range devastatingly, leaving them stunned.
Wizards
Specialties: Distance / Area Damage
Evolves to: Pyromancer or Ice Mage
Skills
Ice Storm : Summons a blizzard over a period of time, inflicting continuous damage and slowing enemies in the area of the circle ahead. It also has a chance to cause the "Frozen" effect.
Ice Bird : Summons an Ice Bird that flies across the battlefield, dealing great damage to enemies caught in its path.
Blink of an Eye : Takes off in a howling gust of wind, dealing damage to nearby enemies and freezing them. Heal whoever launches it.
Clerics
Specialties: Healing / Support
Evolves to: Priest or Druid
Skills
Power of Nature : Unleash vines to attack enemies within a certain range, dealing damage multiple times while poisoning them.
Nature's Prayer : Summons the power of nature to instantly heal a large amount of HP from various friendly targets.
Song of the Forest : The Song of the Forest heals nearby friendly targets over time.
Murderers
Specialties: Sneak Attack / Melee Combat
Evolves to: Asura or Ninja
Skills
Empty Ghost : Becomes invisible with increased Critical Rate and generates a combo point.
Sword Attack : Become a dart that travels across the vatalha field and performs a devastating attack after reaching the target.
Art of Murder : Consumes 4 combo points to target nearby enemies, dealing great damage and leaving them stunned.
Second classes
Paladins
Specialties: High Defense / Sacred Shield / Tank
Evolves from: Warriors
Skills
Holy Strike : Summons a beam of light that damages nearby enemies, stunning them. Gives the caster the continuous damage reduction effect.
Enhanced Light Protection : Light shines on the caster, pulling nearby enemies towards them. Heals the caster, who becomes temporarily invincible.
Wild Jump : Jumps high in the air and, when landing, hits enemies in range devastatingly, leaving them stunned.
Berserkers
Specialties: Life Theft / Damage / High Defense
Evolves from: Warriors
Skills
Sword Strike : Crushes the ground with the big sword to cause a shock wave that damages enemies within the target area. Whoever launches is significantly healed based on the damage done by this ability.
Explosion of Improved Fury : Deals great damage to nearby enemies. Significantly increases the damage caused by the caster while increasing the resistance of the caster to negative status.
Storm of Swords : Wields the great sword in a storm of destructive force, dealing great damage to enemies within range.
Pyromancers
Specialties: High Attack / Fire Damage / Sustainability
Evolves from: Wizards
Skills
Firebird : Summons a Firebird that instantly flies over the battlefield, dealing great damage to enemies caught in its path.
Improved Fire Storm : A burst of flame that causes instant damage to up to six targets, leaving them stunned.
Ice Bird : Summons an Ice Bird that flies across the battlefield, dealing great damage to enemies caught in its path.
Ice Wizards
Specialties: High Attack / Ice Damage / Crowd Control
Evolves from: Wizards
Skills
Ice Defense : Summons an Ice Defense that deals great damage to up to 6 targets and freezes them for 3 seconds.
Improved Blink : Takes off in a howling gust of wind, dealing damage to nearby enemies and freezing them. Removes all crowd control effects from the launcher and recovers HP.
Ice Storm : Summons a blizzard over a period of time, inflicting continuous damage and slowing enemies in the area of the circle ahead. It also has a chance to cause the "Frozen" effect.
Priests
Specialties: Sacred / Healing / Reviving
Evolves from: Clerics
Skills
Light Bath : Rays of light fall from the sky, granting invincibility to nearby allies for 3 seconds, while restoring a significant amount of HP to them.
Improved Nature's Prayer : Summons the power of nature to instantly heal large amounts of HP from various friendly targets, removing their negative status.
Song of the Forest : The Song of the Forest heals nearby friendly targets over time.
Druids
Specialties: Damage / Healing / Curse
Evolves from: Clerics
Skills
Fairy Arrow : Awakens the potential power to shoot enemies, inflicting damage several times to enemies in a row.
Improved Forest Song : The Forest Song heals nearby friendly targets over time and increases the damage done by them.
Praise of Blooming : Summons a gigantic fairy flower that deals great damage to enemies within range.
Asuras
Specialties: Damage / Crowd Control / Critical
Evolves from: Assassins
Skills
Descending Asura : Consume 5 combo points to summon an Asura that does great damage to enemies within range. This ability has a 50% critical strike chance.
Improved Shadow Strike : Stuns and deals damage to nearby enemies quickly. Greatly increases damage and generates a combo point when used while invisible.
Sword Attack : Become a dart that travels across the battlefield and performs a devastating attack after reaching the target.
Ninjas
Specialties: Stealth / Crowd Control / Summoning
Evolves from: Assassin
Skills
Dark Soul : Damage enemies within range and generate a combo point. Paralyzes enemies for 2 seconds if used while invisible.
Improved Empty Ghost : Becomes invisible with an increased Critical Rate and generates a combo point.
Cross Cut : Consumes 3 combo points to wield two sharp swords, causing great damage to nearby enemies and considerably increasing the Dodge Rate of those who temporarily cast.
