Death Race is a Free Fire mode with vehicles only. Players are grouped in groups of two and move around the map without ever leaving their vehicle. The winning duo is the one that survives until the end of the match.
The amphibious bike was the vehicle chosen by the creators of Free Fire. It is the same for all players. You can improve the bike, as well as your equipment by picking up items on the map. In this mode, items are larger and easily visible.
1. Master the functions of pilot and sniper
With a capacity for two places, the amphibious bike allows one player to take the place of the Pilot and another of the Shooter. Each post has a different job.
The Rider drives the bike and keeps it running using his repair kit. It is responsible for the direction and the collected loot.
The Sniper defends the bike and eliminates opponents using his weapon. In addition, he can heal himself using the medical kits he picks up. If the bike is blown up or the Sniper is eliminated, the duo loses the match.
During the game, you can ask to switch positions using the steering wheel / chair icon depending on where you are sitting. The two players need to accept the exchange.
2. Choose the place to land
Just like in the usual Free Fire mode, falling in the right place can make the difference between victory and defeat. It is the Pilot who chooses the time and place to jump from the plane.
The amphibious bike is a bike that takes time to pack and loses a lot of power when going uphill. Choose a flat spot to start the game. The places with the best results are the plain in front of Mars Electric, Cape Town, Airport and the Shipyard . Of course, the road through the island is also a good spot.
3. Speed is everything
In this mode, being quick is the most important thing. Accelerate to the maximum, using flat terrain to gain speed, avoid obstacles and sudden turns. Maintaining your movement and speed will make it harder to reach. Attack fast and defend yourself even faster, accelerating away from danger. Avoid steep hills whenever possible. Your bike will lose speed and you will be exposed to enemy shots.
4. Take the loot
As in all Battle Royale games, whoever gets the best loot is the one with the biggest advantage. In this mode, the Loot is highly visible and you just need to go through the icon to get it.
Whenever you eliminate an enemy, you can get his loot. The loot can improve your motorcycle's armor and speed, your weaponry (extras only) and add medical or repair kits.
5. Use your computer
Death race is a two player mode only . If you have no friends or members of your guild online, you will automatically be paired with another player. Use the microphone to communicate with your partner. Talk about the route, warn of the presence of enemies or other dangers in the area.
6. The strongest team wins
The important thing is to win the match . If you are in the rider's place, keep the bike safe and repaired while moving quickly across the terrain. If you're in the Sniper role, focus on shooting and eliminating enemies.
If for any reason you want to switch to the Sniper's place, ask your teammate. Do not keep pressing the button to change places every minute. In addition to being annoying, it may have leave you vulnerable. Remember that the score is shared .
7. Shoot to kill
The weapon with which the Death Race starts is the M4A1. Very fast shooting and some recoil are the main features. You’re going to shoot moving players while on top of a high-speed bike, so don’t worry about getting headshots.
The important thing is to shoot first in the shooter or Pilot enemy to eliminate them quickly. The bike withstands many shots, so don't try to break it in the first place.
Taking the right loot and with a little luck, you can take a Groza. This is a much more powerful rifle with faster firing.
8. Keep the bike running
If the bike explodes, you lose. Whenever the motorcycle is hit, look for a protected place and repair the damage. If you are the Sniper, enjoy the break and heal yourself. Keep everything going and you will go further.
9. Attack from the rear
Although the Shooter can observe the terrain 360 degrees, the Pilot can only have the normal vision of who is driving a vehicle. Always try to attack enemy motorcycles from the rear . The enemy Pilot will take longer to dodge your shots and so you can damage or even eliminate the opponent's duo more safely.
10. Don't forget the Gas Zone
The Gas or Radiation zone increases, decreasing the game zone. Many players, just because they are in a vehicle, tend to belittle the Gas zone and end up being eliminated. Do not rely only on the speed of your motorcycle to escape the Gas.
