Here are a series of tips / tricks of Clash of Clans for Android and that will certainly make the game much easier. As always from Trucoteca we recommend that you try to play without using them to get the most out of the playable experience, although you may be very helpful in obtaining certain achievements. Be as it is and as always ... you choose.
Get free gems:
When you buy something at the store and need to get gems, click Add gems on the plus sign, next to the amount of stones you have. Cancel and do it 2 more times. After going to the store and buying something, click on the gems and you will have free gems.
The fastest way to get gems, but not too many, is to clean the area where your base of stones, trees, flowers, everything you can clean, sometimes you will get gems to clean your base even if they are not too many, but little little by little you can use them to buy a builder's hut. The pattern followed by the gems is as follows, 6-0-4-5-1-3-2-0-0-5-1-0-3-4-0-0-5-0-1-0, that way when we reach the end of the pattern, it will start again, this means that when we have removed 20 obstacles we will have 40 gems, so it is important to always be removing as many obstacles as we see.
Clash of Clans:
There are people who try to hack or exploit the game in order to get free gems, but in Supercell they are relatively generous in that regard. They reward you with gems for cleaning obstacles at their base and for completing Achievements.
More space:
If you have a little time invest some improvement and put it in a valid place and you will have more space for other things.
Save the elixir when we are offline:
In order to save the elixir where it is not possible to obtain large quantities. You just have to make sure the fields are full and then fill your barracks with bombers. You can get 100,000 offline instead of 300,000 elixir. Come back, then download the barracks and you will receive all your elixir again.
Get free eliker:
This trick only works when you have less than 30 seconds to finish a troop and upgrade a complete army. Before thirty seconds of to have the troop go to update. Don't forget, before doing this, make sure you have a complete army. After that, the update will end and we will get Elixir for free.
Attack Abandoned Villages:
A good way to win is by attacking the villages that are abandoned, being a game that is already a few years old, there are many players who no longer play to find those abandoned villages we must look at certain details. You can see that it has gold mines in the right of the box is full of coins, like its elixir extractors.
Elixir Black
The Black Elixir appears and also the Black Elixir troops were introduced with their dark headquarters. At the highest levels of troop improvements it makes the extraction of Black Elixir very important and its protection is essential.
If you go out you can't win, but if they go out
Clash of Clans is approaching his first birthday, there are some who simply weren't strong enough to continue in the game. But don't let those who stopped playing outside, it's really super fun to attack them! Spotted abandoned villages is actually one of the most important strategies of the game. Some tips are quite obvious, but others are much more subtle. Learn everyone, and you must be good in the search for these villages during your inspection time, your 30 seconds. What to look for:
Cropped gravestones :
Headstones:
These show you that someone else has already pierced the base, which is a good sign that the traps have appeared as well.
League Badge:
Anyone who has at least the triumph in the current League 2 weeks will have a Badge League. You can say that when you start a new League, because your own League badge will turn white with a dotted line. After a few days in a league, if he meets clashers without a league badge, it means they are not attacking. That is a good sign that they are not active.
Builders to sleep:
Clash of Clans is all about updates. Since this is a central aspect of the game, it is rare to find an active player who has no builders busy at all times. Look for the "zzz" above the cottage builders. If all of them are sleeping, the boss is most likely gone long ago.
The gold mine:
I learned about this recently, and it really makes a big difference. If you look closely at the gold mine chart, you can see a small compartment just to the right of the point in the cart that leaves the mine. This point in reality indicates the amount of gold found in the gold mine, similar to the visual indicator in the stores. Higher level gold mines take a long time to fill (for level 8 it takes more than one day). Therefore, if you see full or almost full gold cubes it means that the town is probably abandoned. In the first image the mine is full, in the second it is empty.
So he has abandoned, so what? Abandoned villages are much easier to attack. The value that appears in the upper left of “stolen” resources is likely that the majority is entirely in the collectors, which is usually much easier to reach.
Idle timeout and device configuration:
When your shield has been reduced and you are far from your town, the looting of your town can be quick and brutal. There are many and varied defense strategies for Clash of Clans but none compares to simply being connected. But there is a catch - the waiting time of your device. Normally, a quick standby time is a good thing - it saves battery life, which is good for the phone and stuff.
In Clash of Clans the device timeout is more like the instant before going out to a cornfield running backwards and with your pants down. Set up your phone with a waiting time of 5 minutes or more, and you will get the full benefit of the maximum idle time that SuperCell allows. Beyond 5 minutes you will get a message that requires reloading the game. Also note that this tactic will drain the battery quickly.
Resource savings: Warehouses vs Mines
As you have more experience in attacking and defending, it makes sense to learn the mathematics behind how many resources are vulnerable.
Only 20% of gold / Elixir stored in stores can be stolen by assault, this compares with 50% of gold / Elixir stored in the mines. Similarly, only 5% of Dark Elixir stored in Dark Elixir storage can be stolen, compared to 75% of Dark Elixir stored in drills.
Caps Resource Collector: Gold / Elixir preserved in stores has a maximum cap of 198K resources that can be stolen by assault. Collectors do not have that limit. Similarly, the Dark Storage Elixir has a 2k lid and the Dark Elixir Drill has no such limit.
This means that every time you visit your town and move resources to their warehouses, you are greatly increasing the percentage that is safe. This makes it a very good idea to empty all the collectors when the shield is about to run out, even if you don't really have time to attack. Taking into account these percentages can also help you analyze the villages for attacks, especially from the "Revenge" point of view, where you have plenty of time and can see the actual quantities in each warehouse.
Xbow:
For many, the XBow can be an intimidating defense. Shoots fast and has a great variety, which can really destroy an attacking force. One of the keys to a lot of Clash of Clans Strategies is just to know when your opponent is weak, and for the XBow SuperCell offers two great visual clues.
Empty XBow:
When you see an XBow without "string" they are empty. Some other boss has the arrows on his face and private areas. Empty XBows do not pose a threat at all, but keep in mind that giants and balloons will continue to target them.
XBow Angle:
The XBow has two values, and it can either be oriented to hit both ground and aerial targets, or adjust "Level" to attack only ground troops. When in the "level" position, it cannot attack aerial targets at all.
This means that Dragons, balloons, subordinates, and healers have nothing to fear. When it has an angle of the range it is also reduced slightly, both by land and air, but it is still significant.
Shield Remaining Value:
The shields play a very important role in the game, and if it is agriculture you will want to invite the attackers to take a free star and give it a 12-hour protection, leaving your town hall in the cold as we have recommended previously. The shields are large because they give you a lot of time for the mines to accumulate some money without the constant bombing of the attackers, but the more you play, the more times you find yourself asking “Should I leave my remaining time on the shield or attack ? ”
The answer comes down to how update your collectors are, and how much time you have as a shield. As you can see, even with six fully updated collectors, you are not placed to do much even with a full 16-hour shield. With a little luck, you can probably make the same amount of resources with some consecutive incursions. This is especially true when less than 8 hours is kept on your shield, as it comes close to what you can acquire from a good raid.
Another proof that exposing the City Council is the way forward to get many resources.
Overtraining:
This is a fairly simple trick that most veterans know. The barracks and the Black barracks that allow queued troops for training, up to a maximum that depends on their level of update. In addition to being a way to hide resources (as mentioned in the Dark Elixir Bank above), this also serves as a time saver when you are away from your village. It is particularly useful in two scenarios.
- The top of the tail: Certain units such as Dragons and PEKKA have a fairly long time. If they are in queue, then the troop at the top of the queue will process your wait time, even if you don't have room for it.
- 3 minutes of training: Each time you attack, the battle can last up to 3 minutes (plus the second period of 30 inspections). If enough troops are queued, they may be continuously training all this time in the background. That's more than 30 soldiers who will be ready and waiting when you return, more if Black Elixir troops are included. Keeping the tail full as a search will reduce the waiting time before your next attack, sometimes even reaching zero if only a few troops are used.
Teslas:
SuperCell decided that Tesla no longer produces a "keepout" to drop troops. This means that if walls or other buildings are not placed close enough to them, opponents can drop troops directly on top of them. It is very important to keep this in mind when moving Teslas or placing them for the first time. If by chance you are lucky enough to find a place of these at a base of your opponent, consider leaving some distracting troops around the perimeter before entering the beast's belly. Fire concentrated from the four directions can quickly eliminate even considerable force, so some scapegoats abroad can go a long way.
Attract mobile defenses:
When an opponent is attacked, clan castle and hero troops (particularly the Queen archer) can bring some serious damage to their voracious predators. What makes it worse is that you usually meet them when you are in the middle of a bombing of several defensive buildings, and it catches the attention of your troops every time you attack. The solution: move them away with some troops. At the beginning of a battle they continue to lower a troop to attract the attention of the mobile troops, until they have them out of reach of the defenses, then place a horde and let us have it. Alternatively, you can speed up the process using a lightning spell on them once they are grouped together (it is always worth the ~ 20K it will cost you). With this approach you can save some big losses,
Break Walls:
Since version 3.54, the Broken Walls would have behaved differently. You could say that they behave more intelligently than before, since they no longer attack the “loose walls” that used to be a common motive in higher level bases. While they have undoubtedly improved, there are still exploitable weaknesses in them. In particular, they focus on fully enclosed buildings (or in some cases "mostly closed") closer. Like other troops, this means that you can move them away from valuable targets by placing fictitious goals.
The cheapest way to do this is by enclosing the builder's building near other valuable buildings. The walls can play a very important role in surviving an attack. At least, this trick will cost your aggressor a few thousand elixir, but the strength of time and the wall that is saved may be enough to guarantee a victory.
